Super Armor
Super Armor, or Ignore Interrupt, is what allows you to cast skills and move uninterrupted while still taking damage.
Every class has a base number of Super Armor. When you’re in a skill or state where Super Armor is increased, the character will glow yellow. (This glow can be toggled on or off in Game settings > Show Character Combat Info.)
When an attack/skill has higher Super Armor Destruction than the target’s Super Armor, Super Armor Break occurs, and the target will be interrupted from their current action. They will be further vulnerable to stuns and throws/knockouts unless they use a recover or escape skill. In PVE, a boss’ stomp skill is a good example of high Super Armor Destruction.
Utilizing Super Armor Destruction is more relevant when it comes to smaller monsters, or in PVP. Some boss/miniboss monsters can be staggered by depleting their Super Armor gauge (yellow gauge), but most ignore this and incorporate scripted stagger chance into their move patterns.
I-frame
I-frame stands for invincibility frame, a period where you’re completely invulnerable to damage and interruption. In DN a lot of skills provide i-frame with various time windows, some short and some lasting for the entire skill. One example of short i-frame is the dodge skill available to all classes. Notice how the character briefly glows white during this skill. (Like Super Armor, this glow can be toggled with Game settings > Show Character Combat Info.)

Some classes like Tempest or Rangrid have very long and accessible i-frames, while others have shorter i-frames scattered across their skills. It is by no means balanced, but do try to learn and adapt to the class you like to play.
While knowing your i-frames and when to time them is very helpful in short term evasion, it requires a bit of practice, and should be used in conjunction with knowing enemy patterns and positioning.
Other notable skills for evasion are “recover skills” and “escape skills”. “Recover skills” specifically allow you to regain control of your character when they’re being staggered or knocked over. They usually have a short i-frame.
“Escape skills” can be used when your character is not being staggered or knocked over, and move the character a decent distance. This can be used to escape dangerous situations or simply reposition for better attacks. They also usually have a short i-frame.
