3a. FTG and Difficulty system
FTG and Vigor
The FTG system is now relevant, timegating your access to dungeons. You will consume 1500 FTG everytime you enter a dungeon.

Everyday you get 6000 FTG, allowing 4 dungeon runs (costing 1500 FTG each). FTG will refill at 9 AM GMT+8 each day.
There are also FTG refill potions: Beginner Guide gives you some permanent potions for free, clearing 2 dungeons listed in World Daily Chat gives 2 durational potions, login bonus and events also give them out frequently. Please be mindful of how much FTG the potion refills compared to how much FTG you have on your bar, as FTG overflow is not possible.
Checking this button will turn on Vigor. Vigor normally increases FTG consumption to 4500 in exchange for double drop rates for everything except gold, which is 3 times FTG for 2 times drop rate. Sometimes there will be events where Vigor consumption is lessened to 3000 per dungeon instead of 4500.

Difficulty system
If you’ve played DN before the level 100 cap update, you might be familiar with Labyrinth (LB), the extended difficulty system for dungeons/nests/raids in the game. Aside from enemies getting stronger on each LB floor, players also suffer stat deduction from LB14 onward, which influences gearing quite a lot. You can see the details for these deductions from the stage selection screen.

(Supposed stat cap (“Cannot exceed a maximum of x%” in stats info) doesn’t really apply anymore, because every stat gets deducted sufficiently by LB.)
With the 100 level cap update, the Labyrinth floor system has been consolidated into Ascension and Dimension floors. Supposedly, the conversion is as follow:

However, they also made adjustments to difficulties, and the conversion from Labyrinth pre-patch isn’t quite exact to Ascension post-patch: from what I’ve tested, it seems to be easier, and characters can clear a higher floor Labyrinth compared to pre-patch. As all floors are now unlocked regardless of what you’ve cleared before, please test your character’s performance in Night Shadow Training Ground to make sure you don’t attempt a floor you’re not ready for.
