5a2. Accessories
What is it?

Accessories consist of 4 equippable items: Necklace, Earring, and 2 Rings. This section will cover the current base accessory set available for everyone, the Unknown Ancient accessory set.
Acquisition
Finishing the Newbie Mystery box from the the Guide will give you just enough to craft an Unknown Ancient Ring, which is required to graduate the Newbie leg of the Guide. Graduating will give you enough Accessory fragments to craft an Unknown Ancient Necklace (which is also required for another mission.)
To craft the rest of the set, you need 10 Unknown Accessory Fragments for each item. The primary source for them is nests (only Division Nests) and Fission Maze.
| Item | Use for? | Drop in |
| Ancient’s Insignia | Crafting and enhancing all Ancient gear | Any dungeon and nest Any+ |
| Ancient’s Knowledge | Crafting and enhancing all Ancient gear | Any dungeon and nest Any+ |
| Unknown Accessory Fragment | Crafting and enhancing Accessories | Nest any LB |
Enhancement
Accessories can also be enhanced up to +20, but watch out: the guaranteed enhancement success stops at +10. From +11 and up there’s a chance for the Accessory to break. This can be prevented by using an Item Destruction Protection Magic Jelly (which can be listed and bought in the Trading House), however if the breaking event happens, enhancement level will be reset to 0, so there’s little material difference unless the accessory has been Amplified. It’s recommended that you attempt enhancement above +10 during an enhancement rate up event, which happens from time to time.
To start out, the Guide can provide you a +10 to your Unknown Ancient Necklace: finishing the Novice Nest missions from 3 to 12 gives you 10 enhancement hammers to enhance the Ancient Necklace to +10 without any gold or materials. Right click the hammer in your inventory and put the necklace/weapon in the UI slot to enhance.

Amplifying
Unknown Ancient accessories at any enhancement level can be amplified, which increases their stats and makes them tradeable. To amplify an accessory, you need this item:

The main component, Bottle of Unknown Energy, can be obtained from Lucky Zone in Division Nests Ascension 2F++. Both this and the finished Unknown Orb can be traded.
Amplifying an accessory will give them these fixed add-on stats, plus set bonus (sourced from official patch note):
