5a1. Armor

What is it?

Armor consists of 5 equippable items that house the largest stat increase among all equipment: Helm, Upper Body, Lower Body, Gloves, Shoes. They also primarily contain slots for Defence Dragon Jades. This section will cover the current base equipment set available for everyone, the Ancient armor set.

Acquisition

The first missions of the Novice leg of the Guide offers just enough materials to craft a full Ancient armor set.

Enhancement

Ancient armor can be enhanced up to +20, after which they need to be evolved for further enhancement.

Evolution

Warning! This goal depends heavily on bullshit drop rates.

Once you reach +20 on a piece of Ancient armor, it needs to be evolved to the next tier for any further enhancement. The evolution item is Ancient’s Memory.

You can obtain the materials required as follow:

– Spring Gems can be obtained from Invaders.

– Summer Gems can be obtained at a low chance from Lucky Zone rewards.

– Autumn Gems drop in abundance from gathering spots.

– Winter Gems can be obtained from any raids and Frozen World content.

– Ancient’s Energy drops at a very low rate from Ark Crash Site dungeons Ascension 2F++. This is currently the most valuable item in the game, sold for ~1 million gold in the player’s market, just to show how rare it is.

If you somehow manage to obtain this and evolve your Ancient armor, it will become a Tier 2 piece with better stats, an additional slot for an Attack jade, and enhancement level reset allowing for further enhancement.
