What is it?

Costumes are cosmetic Cash items that layers over your equipment and changes your appearance. All costumes can be found in the Cash item tab.

Of course, Costumes are mostly purchased for real money, though some of them are given away for free to new players and in events. Types of Costume items mirror armor, accessory and weapon items, with the addition of Wings, Tails and Decals (commonly abbreviated to W/T/D).

This section will cover the Conversion Costume system, which unifies the stats of Costumes across different rarities and is necessary for your equipment set.

Acquisition

The Guide has a separate category for Conversion Costume missions which will give you a full set of Conversion Armor and Accessories. You need to scroll way down in the Guide interface. Important note: You need to finish the Newbie Graduation mission to receive rewards from Conversion missions.

To actually change the appearance of Conversion Costumes, use the Magic Costume Mirror in Saint Haven/Red Lotus Palace/Milla Laurel. Simply right click or drag and drop a Costume item to its dedicated slot to apply it to the Conversion item.

Enhancement

Conversion Costume can also be enhanced like normal equipment, using Conversion Fragments. You can obtain Conversion fragments by doing World Daily Tasks.

Doing the 2 dungeons listed (always Ark Crash Site dungeons right now) will reward you with armor and accessory Conversion fragments, while doing an LZ dungeon at Any+ at least one will reward you with special armor Conversion fragments. Special armor fragments are used to buy and enhance Conversion W/T/D, which are not given out by the Guide.

You can buy and enhance Conversion items at the Crate Collector NPCs in Saint Haven and Red Lotus Palace.

Conversion weapons

Conversion weapons can be obtained in the Crystal points shop (link pending). Instead of Conversion Fragments, they use Magical Conversion Keys for enhancement, which can be obtained also in the Crystal points shop or the BST shop (link pending). Take note that enhancing Conversion weapons can fail and still consume the Keys and gold used.
